This is one of the many venice sketchings I did when I was in this beautiful beautiful. The  Rialto bridge was always one of my favorite motives, but never from the chanel view, but always with the stairs and the shops. I do not really know why, but I drew and painted this motive so often and I still love it.

Venice is meanwhile kind of a second home for me and I am very sure, the next time, I am there I will do a sketching tour with my iPad and try to catch the different views digitally. I am curious what could happen.
