10 years ago – – the Scandinavian Pavilion of the Biennale in Venice – – The house of an art collector, chic, gay, full of art works, and outside in the front the Pavillon a little swimming pool with the corpse of the collector. – When I was there, the corpse was in the lavation! – The Intention? Collecting art does not make happy? Or even depressed? Or is a compensation for something else? This installation cause the question for the sense of life in such a direct way.
I had to sit there for a little sketching, that always creates a deeper memory than a foto. I loved this installation though or because it shows the loneliness of a person in our society and in the art bubble.
The sketching has the size of 28,5×19,5 cm and would cost 90 €. If it hangs in your home, it always would remind you to live for the right values in life.
